If you’ve forgotten your Bates Network password, visit
https://login.bates.edu and enter your Bates Username at the Single Sign-On (SSO) login prompt. Click the "Forgot Password" link, and a six-digit code will be sent to you via text message. Enter the code and create a new password, ensuring it meets the password requirements. Confirm your new password and click "Go" to reset it.

If you suspect your password may have been compromised, please change it immediately or visit the IT Service Desk
Step 1:
- Visit https://login.bates.edu.
- At the Bates Single Sign-On (SSO) Login prompt, type in your Bates Username.
- Click on the Go button.
Step 2:
- Click on the Forgot Password link.
Step 3:
- A text message with a six-digit code will be sent to you.
- Enter the code sent to you.
- Click on the Go button.
Step 4:
- Create your New Bates Network Password.
- Review the Password Requirements.
- Once you have typed in your New Password and Confirmed it, click on the Go button to reset your Bates Network Password.
