Note: These instructions are for Students.
The following steps are for a student to perform a password reset for a Garnet Gateway Proxy Access account.
Step 1:
- To sign in to your Garnet Gateway account, navigate to The Quad at quad.bates.edu.
- Click on the Student/Faculty/Staff Log In button.

Step 2:
- In the Account & Access card, click on Give Others Access (proxy).
Step 3:
- Click the edit under the person you want to change the password.

Step 4:
- Click the Reset Password on the upper right-hand side of the page.

Step 5:
- You will get a message noting that the password reset process has been initiated.

Step 6:
- Your proxy will receive two emails. One with a link to start the password reset process, and the other email will have an authorization code.
- They will need to follow the instructions in their email.
