PaperCat Printing - Scan to Email

Note:


Step 1:

Login to the PaperCat Printer by taping your Bates ID on the card reader.


Step 2:

You will have three options presented on the PaperCat screen:

  • Print Release - Release a printed document.
  • Access Services - Access additional services.
  • Scan - Scan to Email or Scan to Drive.

Tap on Scan.


Step 3: 

In the Scan interface menu, you will have an option to scan to a Bates email account or you can scan to your Google Workspace Drive account.

Tap on Scan to @bates.edu


Step 4:

From the Scan to window (left), you may change the Subject of the email message and you can also type in a different username.

From the Change Settings window (right), you may change the following options by taping on the Change settings button:

  • Duplex - Single-Sided or Double Sided
  • Orientation - Portrait or Landscape
  • Paper Size - Letter or Legal
  • File Type - PDF (Locked)
  • DPI - 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 (the higher the DPI, the better the quality)
  • Color Mode - Color, Grayscale, or B/W

Step 5:

Place your document in the document feeder.


Step 6:

Tap the Start button
