In May of 2021 we updated our license with Matlab, and the server which holds the license. As of September 1st new installations of Matlab will continue to work, but previous installations will not. To update your license follow these steps:
1. Download the file titled license.dat that is attched to this article.
2. Store the file in a location that won't be deleted. The documents folder on your local computer is a good place to store it.
3. Open Matlab on the computer you need to update.
4. Go to the Resources Menu and Choose Help -> Licensing -> Activate Software
5. Choose Activate Manually and then choose the license.dat file you just downloaded.
