Hands-On with Zoom Phone - Workshop (Comprehensive, 90 Minutes, In-Person) - Recommended!

After completing this Zoom Phone Hands-On Workshop, you will walk away with having your Zoom Phone account entirely configured, customized, and ready for use on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

During our time together, the following topics will be covered:

  • Activation of your Zoom Phone Account
  • Overview of the Zoom Phone Interface 
  • Setup and Customize your Zoom Settings in the Bates Zoom Web Portal
  • Setup and Customize your Zoom Settings in the Zoom Client for Meetings
  • Adjust your Microphone and Speaker Settings for Optimal Call Quality
  • Set your Personal Ringtone
  • Learn How to Set Do Not Disturb (DND) and Availability Status
  • Set up your Call Schedule (Business Hours, Closed Hours & Holiday/Vacation Hours)
  • Configure Call Handling
  • Setup and Access Voicemail
  • Practice Placing and Receiving Calls
  • Learn How to Block Calls and Manage your Block List
  • Learn How to Mask your Caller ID
  • Learn How to Place Calls On Hold & How to Park a Call
  • Transfer a Zoom Phone Call to a Zoom Meeting (Conference Call)
  • Transfer a Telephone Call to Another Individual (Warm, Blind, Voicemail)
  • Send an SMS/Text Message
  • Learn about Resources and Support for a Successful Zoom Phone Experience!

Headsets will be provided with disposable ear and microphone covers and sanitized after each use. You are also welcome to bring your own USB-connected headset. Bluetooth Devices will Not be Supported. 

Current COVID-19 protocols will be followed based on college guidelines. Wearing a mask during this workshop is highly encouraged.

Prerequisites:
