Zoom Phone Q&A Webinar - Ask the Experts - Highly Recommended and Encouraged!

During this one-hour virtual webinar event, our experts will provide you with an update on Zoom Phone since our May 2022 launch! Then we turn it over to you! You will have the opportunity to ask your questions about Zoom Phone from our panel of experts.

After completing this Zoom Phone Hands-On Workshop, you will walk away knowing more about Zoom Phone, and if you are new to Zoom Phone, your account will be entirely configured, customized, and ready for use!

During our time together, the following topics will be covered:

  • Overview of the Zoom Phone Interface 
  • Setup and Customize your Zoom Settings in the Bates Zoom Web Portal
  • Setup and Customize your Zoom Settings in the Zoom Client for Meetings
  • Adjust your Microphone and Speaker Settings for Optimal Call Quality
  • Set your Personal Ringtone
  • Learn How to Set Do Not Disturb (DND) and Availability Status
  • Set up your Call Schedule (Business Hours, Closed Hours & Holiday/Vacation Hours)
  • Configure Call Handling
  • Setup and Access Voicemail

  • Learn How to Block Calls and Manage your Block List

Prerequisites:

  • Knowledge of your Bates Username, Password, and Duo
  • Download and Installation of the Zoom Client for Meetings
  • An open mind and ready to learn!

Notes:

  • Some Headsets will be provided with disposable ear and microphone covers and sanitized after each use. You are also welcome to bring your own USB-connected headset. Bluetooth Devices will Not be Supported.
  • Each Workshop is Limited to 20 Individuals.
  • Due to the nature and setup of these workshops, walk-ins, unfortunately, cannot be accommodated.
  • Individuals who have laptops are strongly encouraged to bring them to the workshop!
  • Current COVID-19 protocols will be followed based on college guidelines.
