How do I change my Security Question in the Garnet Gateway?

Access the Garnet Gateway login web page.

  • https://www.bates.edu/garnet-gateway/
    • In the login box, enter your 9 digit Garnet Gateway User ID.
    • Next, type in your PIN
    • Click on Sign In
  • Once you have successfully logged into the Garnet Gateway, follow the next steps to change or update your Security Question
    • Click on the Account & Access header.
    • Under the Security section, click on Garnet Gateway.
    • Click on the Change Security Question button.
    • Enter your Garnet Gateway PINselect a Question from the drop-down list, and provide your Answer.
