Change your Bates Network Password

To change your Bates Network password, sign in to RapidID using your Bates Network Username (without "@bates.edu") and password. Complete the Duo Authentication process if prompted. Once logged in, click on your Profile Icon and select "Change Password." Enter your current and new password, ensuring it meets the password rules, and click "Save." Finally, log out by clicking on your Profile Icon and selecting "Logout."

Forgot your Bates Network Password

If you’ve forgotten your Bates Network password, visit https://login.bates.edu and enter your Bates Username at the Single Sign-On (SSO) login prompt. Click the "Forgot Password" link, and a six-digit code will be sent to you via text message. Enter the code and create a new password, ensuring it meets the password requirements. Confirm your new password and click "Go" to reset it.
