Note: These instructions are for Parents and Student Guardians.
The following steps are for a Parent or Student Guardian to sign in to their Garnet Gateway Proxy Access account.
Step 1:
- To sign in to your Garnet Gateway account, navigate to The Quad at quad.bates.edu.
- Click on the Parent/Guardian Log In button.
Step 2:
- Use your email address and the password you created to sign in.
Step 3:
- Send an Authorization Code.
- This code will be sent to your email account.
Step 4:
- Enter the Authorization Code.
Step 5:
- You will be brought to the Proxy landing page, where you can navigate to the pages your student has authorized you to view using the drop-down menu.
Step 6:
- Remember that you can use the back button or click on Garnet Gateway: Student in the colored bar at the top to return to the Proxy landing page.
Step 7:
- Make sure you log off by clicking on the avatar next to your e-mail address and clicking Sign Out.
