Garnet Gateway Proxy Access Signing into Your Account (Parents/Guardians)

 Note: These instructions are for Parents and Student Guardians.

The following steps are for a Parent or Student Guardian to sign in to their Garnet Gateway Proxy Access account.

Step 1:

• Sign in to your Garnet Gateway account.
• Navigate to www.bates.edu/g or www.bates.edu/garnetgateway.

Step 2:

• Click on Bates Parent/Guardian.

Step 3:

• Use your email address and the password you created to sign in.

Step 4:

• Send an Authorization Code.
• This code will be sent to your email account.

Step 5:

• Enter the Authorization Code.

Step 6: 

• You will be brought to the Proxy landing page, where you can navigate to the pages your student has authorized you to view using the drop-down menu.

Step 7:

• Remember that you can use the back button or click on Garnet Gateway: Student in the colored bar at the top to return to the Proxy landing page.

Step 8: 

• Make sure you log off by clicking on the avatar next to your e-mail address and clicking Sign Out.
