Garnet Gateway Proxy Access Changing Your Password (Parents/Guardians)

 Note: These instructions are for Parents and Student Guardians.


The following steps are for a Parent or Student Guardian to perform a password reset for their Garnet Gateway Proxy Access account.


Step 1:

  • Click on Bates Parent/Guardian.


Step 3:

  • Use your email address and the password you created to sign in.


Step 4:

  • Send an Authorization Code. This code will be sent to your email account.


Step 5:

  • Enter the Authorization Code.


Step 6: 

  • You will be brought to the Proxy landing page. Click the arrow next to the Proxy Personal Information.


Step 7:

  • Click on the Click here to change your password in the upper right.


Step 8: 

  • A new page will come up noting that an email was sent to your email address.


Step 9: 

  • You will have an email with a link to reset your password and a second email with an Authentication Code to use. Put the Authentication Code in, and you will be brought to a page to reset your password.


Step 10: 

  • After you submit this page, you can enter your email address and new password. You will have to request a new Authentication Code and enter it.
